Alaska is unlike any other wedding destination. The sheer scale of the landscape — towering peaks, endless tundra, glaciers calving into steel-blue water — means that no two ceremonies here look alike, and photographs carry a weight that is hard to replicate anywhere else.
Most of our Alaska couples are planning one of two very different weddings: an intimate elopement deep in the backcountry, or a fully organized celebration in Anchorage with family flown in from the Lower 48. Both require photographers who understand how to work with dramatic, ever-shifting natural light and locations that don't come with power outlets or paved parking lots.
Our team has experience shooting in all of it — from Chugach State Park to the Matanuska Glacier, from the ceremony grounds of Anchorage's botanical gardens to rooftop receptions overlooking the Cook Inlet. We bring the right gear for cold, for wind, for rain, and for the kind of golden-hour light that lasts six hours in summer.
