Our Cinematic Approach in Delhi

An Indian wedding is the most cinematically rich event in the world. Over three to five days, you witness a complete dramatic arc: the intimate henna application of the mehndi, the raucous choreography of the sangeet, the percussion-driven street theatre of the baraat, the sacred ritual geometry of the pheras, and the emotional farewell of the vidaai. No other wedding tradition offers this scope.

Our Delhi wedding films are structured as long-form documentary pieces, not just highlight reels — though we produce both. We deploy three cameras simultaneously across the event's peak moments, positioning one unit for wide-angle environmental context, one for intimate close work on ritual detail and emotional exchange, and a third roaming freely for candid family coverage. The result is a film that a couple's grandchildren will watch and understand the full texture of the day.

For the pheras — the sacred fire circles central to Hindu ceremony — we coordinate camera positions in advance with the officiating pandit. Certain positions and timings are restricted; knowing these protocols in advance allows us to find the permitted angles that still yield powerful imagery without disrupting the ceremony's sanctity.

Best Venues for Wedding Films in Delhi

The Leela Palace New Delhi is architecturally exceptional for video. The marble lobby's natural echo creates a resonant acoustic backdrop for vow exchanges and speech recording; the double-height ballroom provides the grandeur expected of an Indian wedding film.

Pataudi Palace is our preferred venue for couples seeking cinematic heritage atmosphere. The 19th-century colonial estate — surrounded by 10 acres of garden — allows a genuine palace-film aesthetic. The lack of generic hotel branding in every background frame gives the film a timeless quality.

ITC Maurya excels for baraat sequences. The forecourt and Mughal Garden approach road allow a properly choreographed baraat procession with full musical accompaniment, horse or elephant, and unobstructed access for a camera on a gimbal moving alongside the procession.

Humayun's Tomb Gardens (pre-wedding film location, ASI permit required) provides an architectural backdrop of extraordinary visual authority. The Mughal geometric gardens and 16th-century sandstone monument create a setting that instantly communicates India's heritage in a single establishing shot.

Rambagh Palace, Jaipur for multi-day events extending to Rajasthan: the former Maharaja's residence delivers a film aesthetic that no contemporary hotel can match — pink sandstone colonnades, Mughal garden fountains, and the peacocks that appear uninvited in almost every outdoor shot.

What's Included in Your Wedding Film

Delhi multi-day wedding films include a 5–7 minute cinematic highlight reel covering all ceremonies, a full mehndi/sangeet film (typically 25–40 minutes), a full ceremony film (baraat, pheras, vidaai — typically 45–90 minutes), and a full reception edit. All films are delivered in 4K.

Audio is captured via three wireless microphone channels — officiant, groom and ambient — plus a dedicated stereo ambient recorder for each ceremony location. Vows, ring exchanges, the pandit's mantras and speeches are all cleanly recorded. Drone aerial footage is included for venues where DGCA permits allow; Delhi's central monument zones are restricted but outlying palace and resort venues typically permit aerial coverage.

Investment & Packages

Delhi multi-day wedding videography starts from USD 7,500 for 3-day coverage with a two-camera team. Full 5-day coverage with three cameras starts from USD 13,000. Combined photography and videography packages are available at 15% combined savings — recommended given the logistical complexity of coordinating two separate media teams across multi-day Indian events.
